I'm amazed you could do this from the car! (and am glad you weren't the one driving ...) I love traveling through Louisiana and seeing all the bayous; something about them is very compelling. It never occurred to me to sketch while riding! Next trip ...

Botany at 60 mph!! LOL I remember how the trees looked after hurricane Hugo hit Charleston -- you've done a commendable job showing the sheer devastation - from upright trees, to trees snapped off mid-girth and then the jumble, like pick-up-sticks ... sad ... but well done.
I'm so glad you joined EDM - look forward to seeing your responses! Great subject and so important to remember that everything is not fine just because it's not on our TV screens.
