what a great way to express what i;ve been seeing but couldn't quite put words to.. i hope to take a px of the (maybe>?) finished piece this evening and see how it stacks up. working on this piece has been like doing a dance.

I love this rusted piece and wondered about the texture. Is it caused by tucks? Or piecing? Or is it just from the quilting?

i;ve got 3-4 layers of fabric and have cut thru in areas to different depths....i really like the effect it gives adn plan on doing more with this.....i;ll scan a closer detail when i get home from work......
