I have to find some pictures of various older neighborhoods in Danbury ,CT. This multicolored dress-up for turn of the century houses has been going strong for a while. I love it.
We had a lovely lady who set up an ice cream shop in her older house and painted it a lovely burnt orange. Some appreciated it and some did not.
Happily there are still some places one can enjoy colour.
On the news tonight there was a story of a neighbourhood with bylaws and they were up in arms because one family had painted their house the wrong shade of beige. Oh my!!!
