In this lovely little patchwork what is the red object?
First I thought it might be a cardinal, but on further perusal, is it a life jacket?

not what one would expect to see up in the trees.....
I LOVE the photos.....it's a photoquilt! The texture of the sand... I think I need a warm beach fix! Cheers, Sarah
