Oh, Claive - where has the time gone? Arlo was a KID when he had that hit song! One of my best birthdays was when my children bought me tickets for Pete Seeger & Friends at Carnegie Hall - about 10 years ago. I cried through the whole thing, I was so happy!
Thanks for sharing this.
you;d have loved this one too ........they did a
NEW pete seeger song. (and said he was 86 now. yikes!)
How great to see Arlo, and his wonderful hair. What a treat that you got to hear him in concert.
I love Alice's Restaurant. The song and the actual restaurant. It is played every Thanksgiving on KFOG.
Heyza you! What FUN....the only tape I ever totally wore out was Precious Friend, a duo with Arlo and Pete Seeger. So when it died I bought it on CD! Oh don't I wish I could have heard that new song ....
Merry Christmas and happy eggnog, Sarah
