White! But how about bright periwinkle or sky blue shutters and a cranberry door. Or bright yellow door. OK, boring I know, but it's a perfect "house house"... is it yours?

Is it in La.? If so, it's so good to see trees with leaves down thataway.... at least something isn't still in hurricane shreds,

Cheers, Sarah

i tellyou. if we kept it white it woudl definately stand out! but i think it needs more architectural details to do that....am thinking of *paper bag* thanks to ms.closet.
tho i have to tell you, periwinkle is one of the colors i've had taped to the side for the last sevearl weeks....and while i love it, my dh isn't too wild about it... ;-)

yes it's my house. and i'll have to photograph the dead trees and
the humongous limb from the pecan tree in the back yard that had snapped @ 30 feet up adn finally fell @ a month ago....just when we had given up hope adn were ready to get on the tree guy's waiting list...

I think if it were my house, I'd go for a pale silvery grey, with cranberry shutters, & door, & maybe a charcoal trim around the windows. Can't you color it different colors with a photo program, & try it out virtually first?

What about a pale butter yellow with the dark green or gray-green shutters? It looks like it has lots of architectural interest to me!, but then we are in a very plain ranch style house and "nature" out the door, and the view are the interest.
