misc stuff
here a couple of details from my latest piece.
i'm actually currently hand quilting it...something i haven't done in a long time....but it is just begging to be done.... i took these b4 i started quilting it....
have spent the better part of the weekend doing spring cleaning of all things! getting rid of some of the piles of stuff that have taken up residence in the garage.....now we have an unsightly pile on the street waiting to be picked up tomorrow .
and in a totally un-related but way more quilt oriented side note..... check out these wonderful images from joanie san chirico's mini- exhibit that were taken in dallas last weekend.. go to the installation page.....it's wonderful to see them hanging...you really get a better perspective on size etc... there's some really great work in there...lots that have sold already... if you've got your eye on something grab it now while you can!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the images of the miniature exhibit from the quilt show in Dallas. I hope everyone takes a look at the pieces, they are all so wonderful. Claire's piece is spectacular, she achieves wonderful depth in the piece, and it is dimensional, so cool!

beautiful even before the quilting and the message is VERY clear...
i;ve been obsessivly stitching and beading it....
will have to take another photo of it in progress,,,
