Are you sure there isn't a loon or two in your reflections?
Loons are very private type birds and here, where they used to be common, they are moving to ever more secluded spots.
This makes me think of driving into town last spring and seeing one in the river below the bridge.
Great colours, and a nice reminder.
I'll be quilting too this weekend. I'm beating my sewing room into submission and nearly have a wall clear to hang flannel backed table cloths on in-side-out to use as feltboard for layout.

So, are there feathers in this piece or is it fair to ask?
In checking the pictures of your little feathered friend I wondered, or could it be guinea fowl?
I did the table cloth trick and it is slicker than slick!

but nothign too exciting...just feathers i bought at hobby lobby!
