blog-iversary
looks like my blog-iversary was yesterday. who coudl have imagined a year ago we'd be in the shape we're in today? i wonder how the storms and the changes in life down here have affected my work....(aside from the obviousl pieces abtou them....) and then i see this juxtaposition of new pieces next to photographs of the mess adn maybe there is a link there after all.....
it's eerily reminiscent of the infamous barge in the 9th ward.
tho i printed these screens b4 we went down there i guess this whole scenario is lurking in the background whether you're aware of it or not.
who knows what the next year will bring?

Happy Blog-iversary to you!
I appreciate your work and the "eye" on your area from someone other than the news media.
When I first saw the piece with "Je suis", I first read "Jesus", as a cry, and that too "worked."
In a sense, art is also a rebuilding.
